The Vam 4 variety of this date with the 80/79 overdate and Crossbar is one of the scarcest varieties of the many that emerged from the New Orleans mint in 1880. According to CoinFacts on the PCGS website, there are only 4 coins in MS64 and none higher for coin #133880. I believe that there might be a few more under other PCGS numbers, but noththeless this is a super rare low pop variety. A totally brilliant white coin with gleaming luster that is as well struck a dollar that you will see. Exceptionally clean and unmarked surfaces. Fantastic eye appeal and PQ+++.
