Well, Friends, Customers, and soon to be New Acquaintances—we are proud to present our new and greatly improved website. It has been under development for over a year. We think that the layout of the pages, additional photographs for each coin, and ease of use will make each of you happy. In addition, we have procured a Premium (EV) SSL Certificate for our domain. This is evidenced by the address bar being displayed in green as well as the Site Seal and Web Beacon displayed on our website. We have also added a secure shopping cart and credit card checkout on which you can charge your purchases up to $10,000. We are also now accepting most credit cards including American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa. In other words we think johnbhamrickcoins.com is going to be one of the slickest coin sites on the web, and we are very proud of it. We look forward to receiving your comments and suggestions.

In the past month we have added several hundred new coins. More are going up this week. We have the largest selection and variety of Morgan dollars that we have had in several years. Our selection of better and rare date St. Gaudens is more expansive and complete—the prices are also reasonable. We have a large selection of “Southern” gold and also Carson City $20’s. There are some new type coins as well as scattered miscellaneous items. Some of the highlights currently being offered are as follows: 1799 Starred Reverse 1C NGC XF45 (2nd finest graded), 1879-CC Morgan $1 PCGS MS65, 1889-CC Morgan $1 PCGS MS63 with the CAC “green bean” sticker, 1871-CC Liberty $20 NGC AU50, 1907 St. Gaudens $20 High Relief Flat Edge PCGS MS65, 1909/8 St. Gaudens $20 PCGS MS64, and 1924-D & 1924-S St. Gaudens $20 both in PCGS MS64 to mention a few. There are many other key date coins in our offerings.

The overall coin market remains steady and well. Nice coins remain difficult to buy. The market is very strong for fresh material. This is evidenced by the coin shows and auctions we have attending this year, as well as our day to day contact with dealers and collectors across the country. We feel extremely comfortable purchasing as much inventory as possible and will continue to do so. if you are thinking about selling your collection or investment portfolio, it will pay you to contact us for our offer. We offer competitive bids on all types of coins.
Generic $20’s have dropped 30% or more since gold reached $1235 over 3 months ago(as well they should after being run up by some of the big market makers). This in turn has reduced the price of the semi-better date Saints which we have adjusted downward accordingly. We believe that these coins are fairly valued now, and that this is the time to begin purchasing them again. The prices of Morgan dollars remain steady, but we continue to check and adjust them every 3-4 weeks to keep them current.

If you have any questions about our offerings, purchasing of coins, or general questions, please do not hesitate to contact us either by email or telephone. We want your business, we need your business, and we will always do our best to treat you fairly. We want to buy your coins whether you have a single coin for sale valued at $1,000 or less or a large collection valued at $1,000,000 or more.
We solicit your “WISH LISTS,” and we will aggressively try to find the coins you are seeking.

We hope to hear from you soon.

Best Wishes,
John B. Hamrick & Co.
